Long mother of pearl strand

Hi pearly peeps,

Thought I would post here to get some feedback. I am considering two different mother of pearl strands. I have reservations about both - I know you will probably say that means I should get neither but I thought I’d open up the question for the forum. I’m not going to say what my reservations are at this point so I don’t bias the feedback. I am open to critique so don’t feel that you need to hold back.

The grey is the Paspaley Maxima right? I’ve looked at those as well

So the white has a much bolder shape. And it’s a shape that’s got much more brand recognition. I don’t know if that’s a positive or a negative in your book.

The grey… Feels more casual. Both could be worn casually, but I feel like the the grey works with a ripped shirt and cut-offs… But on the other side the white would look right at home over a cocktail dress. Which might be edging too formal for the grey?

Both are lovely on you! They both drape very nicely I do personally prefer the white, I love a light and bright sheen near the face - I think it’s universally flattering

My eye went to the white mop necklace immediately. I prefer the overall scale and design of the necklace, and think the white mop is really flattering. The gray mop looks moodier to me and more limiting to style. I think it could look like a completely different necklace with a different color top.

I’m not sure I like the grey combo on you at all- it’s very cool in tone and might be hard to wear. The VCA is beautiful! Have you thought about it in YG?
