London v. NYC?

I know it''s a basic question but can anyone advise whether I''d get a better deal buying an engagement ring in New York rather than London / Hatton Garden? Any recommendations either side of the pond gratefully received!

From my experience, the prices in London are higher than those in NYC. Not astronomically, but noticeably.
