Back to setting my nephew's ring. I am interested in the French halo setting as suggested in previous thread. Ritani is sold on 47th street by Firenze Jewelery 15 W 47th Street. Is anyone familiar with this store an their reputation.

I have purchased jewelry from Frienze. I deal with Miles and Kerri who are wonderful to work with.
My first setting in platinum came from them. Although the diamondss on setting sparkle like crazy they are F color, I thought they were on the expensive side.
They have tons of settings including Ritani but i would mention to them your price range and they will help you find something beautiful.
Good Luck!

Madison2 that is actually very helpful. I spoke to a woman there today and I shared his budget and said that the Ritani setting would need 3-4 weeks to order and that she has many settings similar good quality in his price range.

Did you speak to Kerri? I can tell you that I went with one of Firenze settings in Platinum and was happy with the diamond quality and setting. Plat was expensive though. I went back for the wedding band and it is white gold with diamond eternity. It was cheaper than the designer brand so I got a Winston replica. I can tell you that their diamonds on the settings are very good quality and mine sparkle like crazy!

That's a very pretty setting! I am sure the future fiancee will be happy!

Thanks DS.....I was sure you guys would say that the diamond sits too high and that there is a gap between the stone and the halo. I really prefer the Ritani french halo but my nephew said he thought the diamond looked underwhelmed. Chris at ERD told him also (3rd opinion) that the inherited stone .99 RB was in his opinion a F color VS stone so i am so happy for him.
