Local jeweller for custom setting - how to choose?

I've done a search on this forum and have found these 3 jewellers recommended in my city. My partner is adamant we will not be posting the stone off elsewhere so I need to choose a jeweller. Based on their galleries, which would you choose? Or any other suggestions in Brisbane Australia? Or tips on choosing a jeweller? I am going for a floral/antique with milligrain halo look.

http://www.sdj.com.au/ recommended by arkieb in another thread however she mentioned one bench was good and one was not. However her recommendation was limited to them setting, not doing a custom setting.
http://www.mckims.com.au/ recommended for diamond selection assistance, no mention of custom setting
https://www.facebook.com/keperrajewellers1 recommended for customer service vs workmanship as the poster did not make a purchase

Im going to throw this one in that I just found via Google too http://www.rockcouturejewellery.com.au/ROCK_Couture/Welcome.html

I hope this post isn't against the rules. I know these recommendations aren't specific to my needs but it's all I could find. None of my friends have anything beyond a solitaire and they were mostly purchased overseas so I can't pick their husbands brains.

I think you need to repost this with a title like...Custom jeweler recommendation needed for (city name)".

Otherwise you may not get the attention of the people you need to reply. Then just click report concern on this thread and ask the moderator to delete it.

I appreciate your reply, however that has been asked in the past with no replies :( I am hoping seasoned pricescopers might be able to look at the jewellers pages and let me know if any have red flags or if any look good.

there are even a few folks who had their setting made by one of our recommended (US) designer by using specific measurements of the stone, had the setting shipped to them and a local jeweler set the stone.

I thought of that but we don't have the certificate to get exact measurements and I think bf wants to go into a store etc. I'll ask him but I expect hell say no. He didn't understand why I wanted the certificate at all and thinks it's unnecessary!

Hi, I would go with with number three. Also where did your boyfriend buy the stone? Did it come with any cert? You can always go back to where you bought it and request one. How should you otherwise know the specs, even the weight ?
Good luck
