I ran into some hiccups with my LJN setting. A couple of days ago they sent me a couple of pictures. The pictures actually looked great but I noticed the ring was missing the milgrain and also the engraving detail on the prongs. So I promptly called and told them and they said they would fix it. A couple of days later they sent me some more pictures.

Now maybe the poor engraver had not been able to milgrain anything for a loooooong time and maybe he got really excited and became overzealous because he milgrained EVERYTHING…top, sides, basket, prongs … EVERYTHING! :nono:

Well I almost cried. ;( I actually felt sick. When I got myself together I sent Leigh an email. He promptly responded, and I quote, “I want you to absolutely love your ring. If you receive and don’t like it for any reason, I will personally supervise the building of a new ring.” He then went on to say that he was going to ship this ring, let me wear it, build me a new ring and send it to me for review. If I was satisfied he would send me a pre-paid shipping label so that I could return everything to him and he would reset my diamond into the new ring and send it back to me. He told me I had a 30 day complete money back guarantee.

Well THEN I did cry because his email was so nice. :praise: I immediately felt better. I know that sometimes crap happens but the real tale is how the business cleans it up AFTER it hits the fan ... so ... I can’t report on the ring yet and I can’t say that this has been a completely smooth process but I can say with certainty that so far LJN is trying to provide me with extraordinary customer service and it seems they are standing behind their product 100%.

Thanks Junebug. I had a special request for them and I think maybe the mix up occurred when they were trying to honor it. What is that old saying? No good deed goes unpunished.
