Little Red went for a day trip yesterday and once again was noticed!

the woman noticing him this time reminded me of Sheri in many ways [tall, well put together, "creative" looking but had very colorful full sleeve tats on her arms].
seems to me that the women who notice Little Red are outgoing/artistic types....

i'd be interested in knowing the reactions and/or observations other octopus wearers experience.

I wore mine, and received two comments (see Lucy & Ethel topic).

I wore it layered with a Tahitian and leather necklace, and whenever the octopus bumped a pearl, I heard a little "ting" sound. It's been a long time since I had a solid, cast piece. It's a lovely sound.

Btw, mine is Scarface, as in "say hello to my little friend." (Sorry. But there it is.)

He does love to socialize. He is out today! Needed some fresh air free from my stuffy jewelry chest.

Ennui, I was actually going to ask you how you wore yours, so I'm glad you posted. Still figuring out for mine.....I have a strand of small faceted labradorite beads I might try.

I wore it on an oxidized silver chain, through the closed loop. And then the other necklace layered around it.

I might wear the octopus with the hooked arm over small faceted beads when I know I won't be moving around a lot, like for a brunch or something. I think it has enough weight to stay put.

I love wearing my hippocampus. Rather than the chain I wear it on a long strand of gold metallic freshwater pearls. I was thrilled to get this pendent and get compliments every time I wear it.
