It’s been a long time since I posted on PS. I know this purchase isn’t impressive compared to some of the purchases and projects here but I’m pretty happy with these 1 ctw blue diamond studs I got from the winter sale at Lightbox. I wasn’t sure what to expect since my first purchase from them was a badly cut pendant, and I returned it immediately. I think I posted it here, but I’ll post it again:
Not only is the cut way better on these studs compared to the pendant, but the packaging has improved compared to when I bought a couple years ago!
Compared to my .50ctw LGD studs I bought from James Allen:
I was expecting to be disappointed again but I really love these! I do know that some people on the Lightbox website have complained that the blue isn’t a true blue and while the diamonds are a steely gray blue, I think they’re lovely and sparkly! My only complaint is that I wish they weren’t martini studs. My earlobes are already a little stretched out and I don’t like how these studs sit in my ears. I do plan to reset these into some basket mountings when I go to my jeweler.

Receiving these have definitely made me more open to buying more from them in the future. I’d love to add a .75+ carat blue or white diamond. I’ve seen that they’ve also stopped using sterling silver and have added more 14k/18k gold fittings. I’m assuming that Lightbox is slowly phasing out their 10k jewelry, hence the deep discount on these studs. I plan to take these to the jeweler asap once I pick up my engagement ring upgrade. 
The yellow gold ones are sold out but they’ve still got the white gold and pink with rose gold studs left. I’m a little tempted with the pinks after getting these now…
I’ll try and post photos once they’re reset. I’m really excited to get them done since they’re super sparkly!
