It looks pretty darn perfect to me! —except that I would rather get a VVS /F since I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between that and a D /IF (even with a loupe- VVS is so clean!)— but I would DEFINITELY be able to see a difference in size !!

Yup - been through that whole discussion many, many times. I’m glad the OP went with what he wanted anyway!

At the price I paid, if I dropped the color and clarity to VVS/F and kept everything else the same (using the PS search), I'd be maxing out at a ~1.5ct diamond that faces up ~10% larger, so I don't know if the compromise is actually noticeable enough to be worth it. That's also without knowing the cut quality of the larger diamond.
