Anyone else reading this book? I am not usually interested in the lives of celebrities, but I have been waiting for this book to come out and find the story (so far, I'm only 50 some-odd pages in) fascinating. I guess the big question for me is how does he remember any of his/tory?

I have the review in my pile of newspapers to be read, thanks for sharing, Haven. I'm ntot even a huge Stones fan, I just don't get how this guy can walk, let alone retell his story.

It is a shock, I agree!

So, Haven, what's next on your list? I've picked up and put down two other books this past week. Sad! They just weren't worth my time.

What ISN'T on my list! It's too long, thanks to the Book Review.

My priority reading list includes:
Mudbound (this is for my real life book club)
The Help (for PS Book Club)
Room by Donaghue
Half a Life by Darin Strauss
Skippy Dies by Paul Murray
First Family: Abigail and John Adams by Ellis

I recently started reading The Hunger Games. I'm rereading LeGuin's Changing Planes because I just love it and can't put it down. I found a gorgeous hardcover copy of it in the $1 clearance section at the local bookstore and couldn't pass it up.

I'd love to hear which books disappointed you, if you don't mind sharing.

JC Oates My Sister My Love and Bohjilan's (sp?) latest. I thought I read and liked Midwives but 30 pages in I figured I had the wrong author as this book was so drippy. And I usually love Oates, perhaps it's my frame of mind and I just need to read some smutty rock'n'roll story.

I meant to add, the best book I've read laltely is Hold Love Strong. Fantastically written main character.

Keef has always been one of my idols. The book is a great read, especially for those of us who were fans when the Stones first came to the US.

MB, my slow reader husband who is a huge fan is letting me read it first. I've been crawling into bed early to spend some time with Keith every night.

Did you see his LV add in the Sunday Styles section of the
NYT?

Hi, Kimberly! I saw the NYT ad - he looks like he's thinking "How'd this suitcase get in here?"

I thought siimilarly, that he was looking like: How did I land myself here? It cracked me up. I thought: how odd.

I went to bed without reading last night, hopefully I can get enough work done to read a bit today during my daughters naptime.
