Actually, it's a 3 carat ring, I just forgot how big my own diamond was for a second.

Ok, I'm just kidding.

I am surprised this is *still* being talked about. Makes me think folks don't have enough drama in their own venues.

Why is everyone so intent on *outing* this person?

Aljdewey, it seems you answered your own question!

Plus, add the conspiracy theorists who abound on this forum and viola! DRAMA! Yes, my office is very stuffy and boring (when I SHOULD be working), but I think curiosity as to WHY it was done, if it was "indeed" not her ring. As I see it, who cares. I would rather brawl with some "big shot" who brags about how much money and stuff he had, or battle it over with some nut who scamms poor innocent people on the net, or even convince a poor Newbie that Tiffany's is NOT for everyone.

Aahhh...Leave TerpLover alone. Who knows why, who cares why, unless you are intimately involved, why the crazy witch hunt? Yes, that mystery may NEVER be solved...can we deal?
Most likely. Boy do we all love drama or what?! Hee hee

I just don't see the need for the 'lynch mob' mentality when the facts aren't known and may never be. If the poor girl is innocent, who would even believe her if she posted now after all of the 'speculation' that has happened over the last few days? The whole thing could have been brought up via PM or similar anyway, doubtful that this particular thread (and subject) was really necessary.

Chances are the full and correct story would never be known. The whole thing is very unfortunate, regardless. Beautiful ring.

I agree - though it is confusing, it is harsh to pass judgement without knowing the facts. Perhaps if her boyfriend did lie to her or what have you, already upset, and then the poor girl might come back on here and read all these posts about how she is crazy and what not... I would feel bad for her.

ooooh, Jennifer! Excellent choice as that is an incredible ring! Is there EVEN any room left on your finger for an accompanying wedding band? lol

Iv been thinking about this thread and feel sorry for my part in it.

Whether she is lieing or has been lied to or what ever the truth to the matter it is sad and it isnt very nice the way this thread and the other has went.

Thanks to an observant member who emailed my company and alerted us to this
confusion, I am able to write and put a stop to this confusion. All of the
pieces on my store are ready made and what you click on to order is exactly
what you will be receiving. This 3.54ct round brilliant with measurements
9.76 - 9.89 x 6.00 which is set in the D'Vatche original platinum Royal
Crown setting is the only such ring which is posted on my eBay store:
http://stores.ebay.com/La-Rouche-Diamonds The finger which the ring was
taken on belongs to that of my assistant Ms. Doherty who has been working
with my company for quite a long time. Ms. Doherty also happens to think
that she has a unique finger which she can recognize anywhere! J I would
like the thoughtful person who made me aware of this situation to please
email me back so I can send him/her a gift certificate for my eBay store.
While forums like these are so great, I am sorry that such a person can get
on and lie when so many real people have wonderful stories to tell. Such a
person makes a mockery of the beautiful affair of engagements and family
histories.
