Actually, it's a 3 carat ring, I just forgot how big my own diamond was for a second.

I am surprised this is *still* being talked about. Makes me think folks don't have enough drama in their own venues.

Plus, add the conspiracy theorists who abound on this forum and viola! DRAMA! Yes, my office is very stuffy and boring (when I SHOULD be working), but I think curiosity as to WHY it was done, if it was "indeed" not her ring. As I see it, who cares. I would rather brawl with some "big shot" who brags about how much money and stuff he had, or battle it over with some nut who scamms poor innocent people on the net, or even convince a poor Newbie that Tiffany's is NOT for everyone.

I just don't see the need for the 'lynch mob' mentality when the facts aren't known and may never be. If the poor girl is innocent, who would even believe her if she posted now after all of the 'speculation' that has happened over the last few days? The whole thing could have been brought up via PM or similar anyway, doubtful that this particular thread (and subject) was really necessary.
Chances are the full and correct story would never be known. The whole thing is very unfortunate, regardless. Beautiful ring.
