LGD Vendor Responsiveness?

Question for my more experienced PSers--what is normal to expect from a vendor with respect to responsiveness? As in, when you're in the process of emailing with a vendor, is it reasonable to expect a response within 24 hours?

Well I am currently having a custom cut Lab from @Rhino at Distinctive Gem and he ALWAYS responds to me very quickly and we have a very different time zone. Past and present has never been any different. Other vendors I have worked with in the past have also been pretty good. But there could be circumstances that are delaying a response or could have been missed, I would probably just try again. Good luck

Some I've worked with have been within 24 hours, others have been 2-4 business days.

All the vendors I have worked with have responded to emails within 48 hours, except one family-owned B&M that has limited operating hours.
