I have a gorgeous delicate three stone e-ring with a sapphire center which my husband designed and picked out himself. It''s a beautiful ring, and we both love it, but he now realizes that better quality sidestones might look better
So, we''re thinking about upgrading them in the next few months.
Here''s my question: where do I go to get a matching pair of beautiful, white (G or better), really sparkly and fantastically cut, SMALL trapezoidal side stones?
Currently my ring is approx. one carat natural radiant cut sapphire center stone with (I think) .08 or .1 ct brillant cut trap on each side.
Since my husband designed the setting (a flat 2mm band with low, thin pronged, basket setting) I''d really like to keep it. He''s proud of it and I love it.
What would we need to do to the setting if we wanted bigger side stones (I might like to go up to .2ish on each side, though I love the current proportions with .1 I''d love a little more sparkle)?
I want white trapezoid stones that sparkle like mad on each side. I live in NYC, but have no idea where to go for something like this. He had my ring made at the Natural Sapphire Compnay and, while I love the ring and he LOVED their customer service--since this was his first jewelry purchase and he thought Olivia was fantastic--their prices are kind of high and think there may be better options. Where do I go to get the stones and have them replaced in my ring?
Any thoughts/advice are most welcome!
