My guess is E SI2.

Ok folks, I''m ready to tell you the answer! I''m glad this time my poll was more tricky, because not the greatest part of you guessed the stone was G/I1!

I''m attaching another HIGHLY magnified picture I took yesterday, to prove that there''s not really any dark inclusion inside and, most importantly... Thinking outside the box is the way to go sometimes! This stone was a great deal, cheap, and looks great if you dont carry a loupe around. You''d have a REALLY hard time making out the inclusions since they are clear, wisply and blend almost perfectly with the culet pattern. The good cut also helps the overall appearance of this gorgeous stone!

Thanks to everyone for chiming in with a guess, and obviously to David for providing this killer stone at a even more killer price!

Heck, Giangi, if it was another lab, it could have very well been a F, SI3.

VERY PRETTY!!! Great find!

Ha! I got it right! Granted, I voted when I thought those black dots were inclusions but I''ll take whatever I can get...

Well I got the clarity right, but not the color!!! That was fun!!!

Thank you so much for this really fun thread Giangi!!!

Giangi purchased it without a report, then submitted the diamond- Here's how I graded the stone- this poll was a extra special fun for me- to see how the report matches my grades!

Color- G
Clarity I1
Measurements-5.72 x 5.71 x 4.06 mm
Depth- 71.1%
Estimated table - 58% ( here, I was off by a bit)
FL- Faint

As far as the battle of the "photo wars"

I'll fire off another salvo...heheheh

Simply stunning for an I1! That just goes to show you don''t have to get E VVS to have a fabulous stone!

Great point Mara.
Rmember though that all I1''s are NOT created equal- some I1''s can be horrific!

Of course David, just as all diamonds were not created equal!!

One with a discriminating eye and a penchant for bargains can find the most unusual beautiful things....Giangi is great at this.

Exactly, that''s why you need your eyes and not always the numbers on a piece of paper!!!

Or in this case, the eyes of a trusted professional since the stone was a virtual purchase.
