[Diamond BFF]

I recently returned a pair of James Allen .70 ctw diamond studs because they were too small for my face/body frame. Looking to upgrade and I'm torn between two pairs. I would appreciate your vote for pair A or pair B:

Hi Kim I’m new to PriceScope and have been following your diamond stud journey, as I too was searching. I actually purchased a pair of 1.36 cttw earrings but I swear your .70ctt looked bigger than mine in the photos you posted. However, I have purchased and returned a few pairs because of the same feelings you shared. I’m no diamond expert but if I was purchasing between the two above, I’d go with option B because that pair is bigger. I also think I see the crystal in the first stone in option A. Good luck!

Sorry for your experience.
I have bought diamond studs for my daughter which I have posted.
I realized I needed help in this area, could not go it alone.

My recommendation to the both of you is what I did with 100% satisfaction: I called Lesley at BGD to pick pairs for me. I also selected the Lapousette backs, so glad I did, but that is for another story.

I'm sorry the JA studs didn't work out! It seems you might want to upgrade over time so I think WF might be a better vendor for you with their outstanding upgrade policy and maybe CBI as well. I personally think E/F and high clarity is overkill in studs so I'm going to suggest a few pairs that will maximize your budget (same price as the JA options), performance and size. But there are 57 pairs at WF that meet the criteria so plenty of options to choose from...

Have you tried some cheapies from Claire's or something to see where your size preference/tolerance is? They'll often sell three- or six-pair sets of varying, increasing sizes. Finding your "perfect" size first will alleviate all the buying/returning of the real thing.
