Leon Mege-- Pricing for this ring "Heidy"

Hello, This is my first post. I enjoy reading this forum. Very informative.
I have loved this particular Leon Mege ring named "Heidy" for over a year now. I am looking to buy a 1.5-2.00 carat cushion diamond to go with this setting, however I do prefer quality and brilliance over size. My boyfriend has called and spoken to LM, and didn''t get any pricing info out of him. He seems to have that "artist mentality" of.. I will do what I want, not what you want. Does anyone know what he might charge for recreating this setting for me, and setting my stone as well?

no way to know for sure how much it would cost. it''s easy enough to just ask him for a quote or email. my guess would be the 4-5K range, but that''s just a guess.

Thanks for getting back so quickly. At least I have a ball park figure to go on. I love Vintage/antique style rings, or ones like Heidy that look like a Kings crown.

I tried to attach both photos on my first post, but it didnt work, that is why I posted two.

you can only attach one photo per post. so all you''d have to do is hit reply and attach the second photo in that post. leon is a master and is well worth the money IMO if it''s in your budget. He runs less than many high end equal skilled designers but is more than the folks who cast their designs. the ring you like it gorgeous. a pricescoper named reena owns it with a 2 carat cushion..i''ll hunt down her thread for you...

I posted this photo separate when I didn''t know what I was doing. LM seems to change the main stone in this setting often from ruby to diamond and now sapphire. I just worry a little with him, because I have read on this forum that he does not make wax cast to see if the ring compliments your hand and finger. Sometimes you can love a ring in a photo and then hate the way it looks on you. I guess I''ll have to meet him to find out. Thank you for all your help.[

Wow. See It looks different.. in a good way. I like that it looks more delicate then the pics on LM webpage.
