After months of research and shopping, and my guy asking me, I have my Leon Mege Emerald Cut Solitaire.
My stone selection I wrote about here: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/emerald-cut-need-your-opinion.146041/#post-2644933#p2644933////////
I went with the SI1 as it was eye clean and overall I felt like a better stone for me. I know some people say that step cuts or Emerald cuts don't have much sparkle but let me tell you when I'm driving down the highway I have to do all I can to keep my eyes on the road and off my ring with how much it sparkles.
The setting is a classic Tapered Cathedral Tiered Basket setting with the double prongs. I LOVE how low this ring is compared to other settings I've tried on, and the double prongs are incredible.
For reference I wear a size 8 ring (fat fingers).
Someday I'd like to upgrade to Leon's classic 5 stone setting with an Emerald Cut, Trapezoid, Shield stones.
Anyway, enjoy the pics.
