Note to all future brides and grooms: Two year engagements are way too long!

I had a 2.5 yr engagement because we bought an apartment in Manhattan (NYC) and paid for the wedding on our own. In order to pay for it all and not be in debt, we took that long. I think it went fast and was so happy there were no bills after the wedding.

Congrats on the soon to be wedding! Enjoy it..the day just flies by!

BTW The ring is STUNNGING

We too had a 2 and a bit year engagement, for the purposes of not being in debt after the wedding. It flew by to be honest and I enjoyed having the time to be excited in the run up
