Hi Everyone!
I am acquiring help on purchasing a loose diamond from Jared. I went to Jared's the other day looking for an e-ring as me and my boyfriend plan on getting engaged by next summer. I have always had my mind set of getting a GIA or AGS diamond, however the salesperson showed me a .75ct LEO diamond which is GSI certified. I have never heard of this lab, but the sales person assured me they are reputable. He showed me the report and I looked at the diamond myself and I didn't find any flaws. It is certified as near colorless(G), SI1, and it is Ideal Leo cut. Cut is the most important to me. The diamond is beautiful to me and my boyfriend loved it so much that he put a deposit to hold the diamond. I am just wondering if we are going to right route by getting a diamond that is GSI certified. Please help me. The cost of the diamond is $4,000.
