length of time for setting

Hello to all of you!! I am seek expert advice and some info from you guys!

We have purchased the setting and it will be here in mid-March (from signed pieces) is that a normal timeframe? It seems like it shouldn''t take so long. Maybe lots of people are ordering and making the settings takes awhile. Because I have a smaller finger size they have to make the setting

More importantly I am purchasing my center stone from whiteflash

and was wondering if I mail them the setting how long it will take for them to set my whiteflash diamond in my signed pieces setting. What is the average waiting time?

What about the overall timeframe?

4 weeks for a custom job is average. Not fast, but not unusually slow. As for how long it will take WF to set it, it will depend on where you are in their orders. It is my understanding that it doesn''t take a very long time to set, but they would have to work you into their lineup..

You can always call WF and as them. They would know way better than me

Whiteflash designed and created a custom setting for me in about two weeks, including setting the diamond. Of course, I was a pretty easy customer I think... just said what I wanted and they gave it to me. No real back and forth. I think it only took them about three days to make the ring and set the diamonds after the design was approved, so they should be able to take care of you pretty quickly.

Congratulations on the ring too, be sure to put up pictures when you get them.

I will DEFINATELY put up pictures! I just don''t want to wait so long!!

Signed pieces will take about 4 weeks and then the setting has to be mailed to WF for the diamond and setting. There is a fee for setting in a non wf setting-not sure what that is.
