Hi,

My fiance and I are doing some preliminary wedding band research, and a ring that we like is the Legato Sleekline Pave Diamond Wedding ring (Platinum likely):

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the following questions:

- how does WF (and more generally, online sites) compare in wedding band prices to b&m stores? I know that online stores offer really good savings on e-rings (in other words, you get more for the same price) mostly because the diamond savings they can pass on for not having a physical location. My initial impression is that for wedding bands, this increased savings is not very pronounced (if present at all). I've only done very limited research mind you, but what is everyone else's experience?
- for people that have this particular wedding band, does pulling the ring on/off alot irritate the finger (since the inside edges are not rounded)?
- has anyone done/seen a custom Legato Sleekline Pave Diamond Wedding Ring that is comfort fit on the inside? I know that the ring has "holes" on the inside for the diamond mounting(?), so I don't know if this prevents this combination from occurring? we are really interested in comfort fit because it feels nicer and comes off so much easier!
- are there any equivalent rings (at other online sites or elsewhere) that is is similar? the things we like about the ring are the small prongs that hold the diamonds (gives a bit of separation between each), the thickness (2mm-2.5mm is ok), the thin "border" (the diamonds don't sit flush with the ring edge), and the height (it would be paired with a legato sleek line e-ring)
- what type of platinum composition is ok for this type of diamond paved ring? when we got the e-ring, we went with 90% platinum and 10% iridium, because the research I did pointed me to Mark Morrell's article describing the pros/cons of the various mixes. By in the large though, I think most platinum wedding bands seem to be 95% platinum and 5% iridium, which I've read can bend very easily (so the diamonds might have higher chance of falling out). From your opinion/experience, should 95% platinum and 5% iridium be avoided? If so, that leaves 90% platinum and 10% iridium, or 95% platinum and 5% ruthenium

Thanks for any help!
