Legato Sleek Line or Vatche 1508 Venus?

Can't decide which setting I should go with. for 1ct stone, which one is better?

Does anyone have experience with any of them? please attach your picture here.

I'm happy with my Vatche Venus (pictured in my avatar). It houses a 1.05 ct OEC. I know Gypsy has seen it in person and doesn't like the Venus. If I upgrade, I plan to get the Venus again. A plus is that it's eligible for trade up:

"All engagement rings from the collections of our designer partners Tacori, Verragio, Simon G, Ritani, Danhov and Vatche are eligible for trade up to any other single designer item of this group of designers that is equal to or greater in value. 50% of the original sale price for the item will be credited toward the new purchase."

To me, the vatche setting seems to have a little bit lower basket than legato sleek. I actually like it, however, will it block the lights and weaken the performance of the stone?

The main difference is that the Vatche is much thinner than the Legato. It is 1.8mm at it's largest, and the Legato tapers to 2.5mm at it's bottom. So it is mainly personal preference. The Legato has always been one of my favorite solitaires, though.

Your ring and wedding band are lovely! I am considering the Vatche Venus, and searching for a matching wedding band. May I ask where your wedding band is from, and whether you have any issues with the Venus basket rubbing against the wedding band?

Just wanted to add my two cents-
I also have the Vatche Venus with a 0.92carat diamond. I think that the thinness of the band looks great with this sized stone. For reference, my finger size is 3.75. I've been looking at a lot of wedding bands and haven't really had a problem with rubbing, although I prefer lower profile bands.

I got my ring all set finally. The setting is semi-customized vatche venus (made the band width a little bit thicker).
I am happy about the result and thank everyone for your help!
