Least favorite commercials

My vote is for the McDonalds commercial for fish sandwich, with the fish singing. The jingle is so freaking annoying.
Also not a fan of mucinex''s add with talking mucus. Blech. I guess it works, but grossness.

The old OLD NAVY commercials where everyone would break out in dance to some old pop song. There was one specific one but I can''t remember which song (darn it!) ANNOYING.

Come to think of it, I am a mute button presser because most commercials annoy me.

I really can''t stand the radio ad for those computer skills training schools. The synthesizer reminds me of a horribley cheesey 80s song that never should have been made. It gets stuck in my head.

Back in the day we used to have these ads in my home state for the furniture store Alperts. This guy, John from Alperts, had the thickest RI accent you''ve ever heard. He would always start the ads off with "Hi! I''m John from Alperts!" Those ads were infamous growing up.

I also get quite annoyed when the $5 foot long jingle pops into my head. Like. Right. Now.

Dude, I totally remember John from Alperts! I once read a newspaper article that his name wasn''t really John and that he did a bunch of ads around the country under different names. It was effective cause his voice was so annoying that people remembered it.

Every ad that we list here is effective since we can remember it.

When I saw the title of this thread I immediately thought of these commercials: Head-On or Active-On! They drive me just nuts. I''m a addict to news channels and they are always there - drives me up the friggin wall

YES! It was the inspiration for this thread. Damn fish, why would you be singing about wanting another fish that is about to be eaten? Why can you sing? The very premise is nuts and that darn jingle, gah! DH watches the Celtics religiously and that commercial is on every commercial break.
