I’ve been sort of obsessed with Lea Stein pins and other accessories since the mid 2000s! It started out as admiring one tortoiseshell kitty pin at an antique show and ever since then I find myself looking for anything LS every appropriate place. Recently Ruby Lane had an event and I found 2 more pieces all the way over in England. They took forever to get to me, but they arrived in my first package addressed from the Royal Mail. How very fancy I felt!
I ordered a cicada brooch and a red fox ring. Even without seeing them in person I had a good feel for their weight, heft, and size, just from having my original kitty for years now. They are PERFECT! No story on the ring, but the cicada represents my love-hate relationship with 17 year cicadas here in the Midwest. I won’t go on and bore you with that story; it’s just me whining about bugs.
