Lavender quartz?

Is this a real stone? Or some type of glass or synthetic? Never heard of lavender quartz before but this stuff seems real beautiful and doesn’t appear to cost much.

It could just be a variety of rose quartz.
I just read that it comes from Brazil.
Here is something from Rio grande about it.

Yes, you're right, of course.
I googled this "lavender" stuff earlier and it's a hazy pink quartz from Brazil with a cute trade name.
This was the first time I'd heard of it.

They’re typically iirradiated. Madagascar has some pretty rose quartz with a natural lavender undertone, although it’s pink.

This is definitely different from amethyst and has a distinct opalescent glow that I love. @T L is correct that most of these are irradiated but some are not. Mine was sold as untreated from north Brazil, which I believe is the only location where this color occurs naturally.

This is mine from Madagascar and untreated as far as I know. It has lavender undertones.

I think the main difference between this variety and rose de france (lavender) amethyst is that they irradiate this "moon" material to give it a sort of opalescent look. Pretty though!
