Wow!! It turned out gorgeous!!

I know how long you''ve worked on making this project a reality. It couldn''t be more perfect! You jeweler did a fabulous job setting it. Did he do anything else to ready the setting for the stone?

Oh Lauren,
Your OEC is sooooo fabulous. I love OEC''s and the setting is perfection. So happy for you!!!!

Oh Lauren it turned out beautifully! What fun chunky facets on that stone! Yay!

I love your new ring! Both the stone and setting are beautiful, and you did a great job putting together the whole package. It looks great with your three-sided pave band, too.

I also love how you have two gorgeous, completely different diamonds. Your new one is so different from your wedding set, and they''re both so lovely in their own ways. I would be so excited about the versatility!

Wowzers! That is a beauty!

. What a great job your jeweler did. Congratulations. I love the band also.

Yes, I don''t think you could take too many pictures of that beautiful ring, or any of your beautiful rings!

Man I think the ring is prettier WITH the warmth. I love it and I love the halo. Now I am jealous of *BOTH* of your beautiful rings!

Thank you so much for your kind words, DiamondDana, Thing2of2, motownmama, NEL, Vita*Dolce, Chiquitapet, MC, DiamondSeeker, MMT, Kaleigh, Kelli, Tourmaline_lover, Catmom, Andi, GeckoDani, Kittybean, Joflier, SDL, Dani, Addy, Ellen, Cachette, Dogmom, lesco and ILoveAsschers!

Upgradeable - he didn't have to do anything else to ready the setting, all they did was set it with pointy-ish prongs. Thank you so much!

DecoDelight - Thank you! The seller's name is Kingkongcrowder, both on Pricescope, and on Ebay. He doesn't have a constant supply of antique diamonds, unfortunately!

He sources diamonds from pawn shops, and resells them to local jewelers. He always carried a pair of digital calipers with him to make sure he's getting a great deal. He found this OEC in a man's ring, but the diamond had a lot of it hiding under the bezel, and the pawn shop was selling it as a .40 ct.

Well, his jewelers don't care for antique diamonds, so whenever he finds them, he lists them on ebay.

He's great to deal with, and I would just contact him via Ebay to see if he might have any more OECs up his sleeves.
