Launching the search for a replacement tennis bracelet

Thank-you EVERYONE who sent dust my way regarding my lost tennis bracelet. I haven't totally given up hope, but since I wore it 24/7, I definitely didn't leave it laying around the house; it must have fallen off. Believe me - I've looked everywhere - even nonsensical places (the kitty litter...).

I don't know when I'll be ready to pull the trigger, but it's helping me cope, by starting the replacement process. I contacted WF and am waiting for some quotes for 5CTW bracelets in WG & platinum. The challenge is I'm not partial to the 3 prong ( I see triangles) and the X-prong seems a bit bulky.

Below is a picture of the lost bracelet (oops it won't attach - I'll keep working on that). I kinda, sorta just like the way it looked. James Allen seems to have a 4-prong version that looks very very similar. Any reason no one suggested James Allen?

Thanks all!

I would also suggest getting a quote from IDJ as well. I love my TB!

OK Pinto! I'll put IDJ into the mix. Will their "Pricescope quality" diamonds be on par with WF?

Between my mom and I we have jewelry with BGD and IDJ melee and nothing about the IDJ melee screams inferior.

I'm going to be the voice of dissent here. IDJ is very good value-for-money; but I find their melee, though of excellent quality, is not on par with WF or BGD (the latter 2 are super-ideal and are thus priced accordingly). My tennis bracelet from IDJ (which has now been refurbished, for an entirely different reason) was not very well set, the prongs kept catching on my clothes and I had to have a local jeweller fix those.

Having said that, IDJ's pricing is excellent. I may consider them again in the future.

So, it depends on what you're looking for, really.

I'm looking for top quality for sure. THX!

There was a recent tennis bracelet thread where someone ordered from both vendors and opted to keep IDJ. If you are in the states and can easily return the bracelet you don't want, I'd suggest you do the same and give us your feedback.

Order two! Interesting strategy!

I understand your dilemma, I'm looking for a tennis bracelet also and had hoped to purchase with either Whiteflash or BGD as I can't fault their quality. Like you, I'm not a fan of the three prong as I can't help but see 'spacing' between the diamonds when I'd ideally like just a continued line of sparkle.... But the BGD X prong seems to sit a little too high and be maybe a tad bulky.

Do check with Whiteflash as Brittany has been super helpful and sent me some images of a four prong option that they can source which does look beautiful and I think might be perfect and possibly just what you're after.

My only dilemma now I think is ct weight, as I just can't seem to decide how big is too be for my lifestyle etc. I'm buying from Australia so I'd like to get it right first go.

I hope Brittany doesn't mind me posting this image but here is the four prong version that Whiteflash can source.

I was going to reply with the same comment...Whiteflash has definitely has done 4 prong tennis bracelets! They posted a gorgeous 14 ct one on Jan16th on their IG! This is the setting I would personally choose.

I wanted to chime in for IDJ, based on my experience.
I asked them to set a ruby for me, but I asked that Israel choose the pave stones. He is Yuketieal's (spelling?) father and has many years in the diamond industry.
The stones he chose were breathtaking! :geek: So fiery and bright, they are extraordinary and people notice the. The PS quality are very good, but when Israel picks through the packet for you, he comes up with the best ones.
If you decide to go with IDJ, you might consider this option, it didn't cost me any extra.
