Hi guys, you may have recalled I posted a 2.42 diamond before the holidays which looked very nice on paper but in the end we passed as the inclusion seen on 10x was a black inclusion.

The wholesaler has presented me with a ton of other diamonds and I finally narrowed it down to this one. Only thing that sorta bugs me is the "Slightly Thick" girdle. Would you be concerned?

Approx $31k USD. HCA score 2.1.

Please share your thoughts asap!

Many thanks in advance.

The IS looks OK to me: this is not a H&A (see how many times I wrote 'slight' below* ), then again, it did not pretend to be one.

F / VS1 is quite high, and the clarity plot seems to be at the VVS2-VS1 border (the graining mentioned in the comment, but not ploted must make up the difference - not that I worry about it, given the high sum total of VS1).

2c & one vote pro

* there is slight asymmetry - see pattern of reflections between arrow shafts etc., but not terrible (i.e. slight), the arrow pattern itself is clean; the hearts are slightly notched - testifying of the slightly larger pavilion angle than the H&A ideal range, perhaps slightly ...

No issues whatsoever with a Slightly Thick girdle.

I wouldn't pass a diamond just because the inclusion UNDER :| 10x loupe is a black crystal! As far as the diamond is EYE clean and you cannot see it with your EYES, this inclusion is OK for me!
I think that your FIRST diamond was better than this one.
