I recently sold my RHR (1.5 ct emerald in halo). I really enjoyed wearing that ring for the past two years but I wanted a "forever" RHR. To compliment my 3-stone ring which has an L colour center stone and J sides, I purchased a 2.5 ct L VVS2 for my right hand. I currently have it in a temporary 4-prong setting with offset prongs at 12,3,6 and 9. Unfortunately it's currently in being sized so I don't have any photos to share. I'll post pictures when I get the ring back (hopefully early this week). I'm not sure how I'll set it in the future. I guess I'll wear it for awhile and then decide. I don't want to rush into anything as this is my FINAL big project. :wavey:

Oooooooh that is a delicious size, and a fabulous compliment to your amazing wedding set! I can't wait for pics!!! :appl: :appl: :appl:

How exciting! I love some of the JBEG settings...take your time though!

How fun! I cant wait to see :D

Farleysmom, I have a question for you. I am looking through your posts trying to see if you have a thread on this but I cant find one. In your avatar photo, it looks like you are using a bezel band as a spacer....is that what I'm seeing? Sorry to venture off topic but I have been dying to ask you since I 1st saw your photo. Thanks.

Hi lbbaber. Yes, it is a very thin bezel band. I used to wear a plan spacer but found it was a little too thick. This band is very delicate (although not great quality) I bought it as I thought it wouldn't be so obvious or detract from the other bands. I have attached a better picture to show you the size.

Thank you for posting the pics of your spacer. I think that is a fantastic idea. I am trying to have a custom spacer (flat on one side but indented on the other to sit flush w/my e-ring) made so I can get an eternity band as my wedding band and although I havent gotten a price quote yet, I am assuming it will be around 700. Sometimes. I feel that for that price I should get a small bezel band...I wasnt sure how it would look so was excited to see yours!! With the alternating shapes in yours it would help fit flush against me e-ring (where the small donut bumps out). Do you mind me asking where you got yours?

I honestly appreciate the photos....your set is gorgeous by the way

lbbaber: Thank you so much for the kind comment. The spacer band is not great quality but does the trick nicely (at least I think so). I bought it off the Shopping Channel in Canada. If I remember correctly, I believe it was about $210 with taxes and shipping.

I received my ring today but will need to send it back to be adjusted as it is a little tight and the stone is slightly loose. I need to correct the stats on the stone as I was confusing it with another stone I also saw. This one is a 2.5 ct and is actually an M (not L) and SI1 (not VVS2). It is totally eye-clean though. Unfortunately, I don't have all the stats to share. My Canon camera chose this point in time not to work (could be due to the drop on the floor). However, I have posted a couple of pictures taken from my blackberry. It is a very lively and bright stone. Thank you for letting me share! Your opinions, thoughts or setting suggestions are always appreciated!!!!!

looks great! i love that you have the prongs N/S/E/W instead of the traditional four prong set. Although you say its tight, it looks beautiful on your hand

Do not feel pressured to keep that stone when you thought you had chosen an L VVS2.

Thanks Taylorbug! I have a very dear friend who is a jeweler. She has been the business for about 20 years and has a great relationship with many of the vendors in the area. Her family is in the diamond business in NYC as well. Every time I visit her there is something new to see and play with. :naughty:

I have to say I am envious of your entire collection!
