Do you have to ask your jeweler to do this or do it independently. Was wondering if David Atlas in philadelphia does this?

Good Question

We all have access to people that do this. At the trade show you can buy the
machine that will laser inscribe your diamond. But in general we leave it to the
professionals

Anybody you ask can have it done.

this probably sounds dumb-but can you have someone inscribe anything on a diamond-like your name or a date instead of just the diamond number? anyone know anyone in the San Diego area that does this?
=thanks!

Dave Atlas offers the laser inscription service.

As far as I know, you can have the Gettysburg Address inscribed on your diamond if you like.

The only restrictions on verbiage is, you may not inscribe the logo’s of the International Laboratories, e.g. GIA, AGS, HRD etc. for obvious reasons

Speaking of inscriptions, the funniest one I've run across was inscribed inside a woman's wedding band by her newly married husband. It said:

"I WAS JUST KIDDING!!!"

Heh heh heh...

Thank you-Appreciate it!!
