At what magnification can a typical laser inscription be read?

Can anyone recommend a good jewelry appraiser in the Pittsburgh, PA area?

if you felt like driving across the state to philly, you could go see the best. dave atlas. check the tutorial on pricescope. he wrote it.

Certainly not an expert, but I have 15x loupe, and can barely read it - it takes quite a lot of focusing and finding. If I were to guess, if I wanted to read it quickly and clearly, I would get 30x - but that is just my guess
