My girlfriend would like a diamond with a larger spread. I've read about the proper proportions for a round diamond. My jeweler suggested the following. Although the table is larger than the depth, would it make a huge difference in the overall appearance?

Its what is called a 60/60 (basically). Have you seen it in person? From the numbers, it's a contender. Can you see the twinning wisps?

I will be seeing it but according to my jeweler it is eye clean!

I've been searching for a while so I'm glad to hear this is a good contender. Do you have any other concerns?
