Ladies with very thin hair--how did/will you do your wedding hair?

For the first question: my friend has really thin hair and is actually using extensions. The extensions are clips that get put underneath her hair and she can take them off when she wants. She''ll have her hair stylist hide the clips. She spent some $$ on them but she''s able to keep them and use them in the future.

As for Rogaine, have heard of it (from the commercials) but don''t know anyone that has used it personally.

If you don''t want to use fake hair, I would just go with accessories. Maybe a nice big flower or a bird cage veil or some feathers.

I think Rogaine is only if your hair is thin because you''re losing it. that means you have hair follicles with no hair in them and I guess Rogaine promotes the growth of hair in those follicles (same as men thinning hair or balding).

however, if your hair isn''t thinning and you''ve always just had fine and thin hair, Rogaine won''t miraculously make more follicles appear on your head (the holes where the hair grows out), which is what I think you''re expecting. you are born with all the follicles you will ever have and as you get older more and more stop working, thus the hair loss. the only way to get more follicles is by hair implant surgery.

but I am guessing your hair is not thinning, you just have fine hair and not a lot of follicles. sorry, it''s not good news, but I have the exact same problem.
