When the diamond came in at GOG, FFI and I sat down and watched the video together. He loved it just as much as I did. He was like "wow, look at that fire, wow!" It is really cute how he''s been with the diamond...he really wants something on my finger that he can be proud of. I would''ve been just fine with a 1.0 - 1.25 ct, but he wanted me to at least have a 1.5 or higher. I didn''t argue!!!
We are taking it up to SingleStone in LA to be set on Sept 10. I bought tix for Dave Matthews at the Greek Theater that evening, so we are going up early to drop off the stone. SS says it will take about 6 - 8 weeks for the setting. Oh man, still have some waiting to do!!!! I''m hoping it will be done by Halloween...that is when we met so it is a special time for us!!
