Add me too. I have not been sure if I wanted to fess up and be on the list of not. If darling b/f found me on here he would tease me pretty good. We've been talking about getting married for a while. April 1, we will have been dating a year. He said it would probably be spring until he proposes. He/we like/love the AVC's at GoG...so every once in a while I go on there and look at them, longingly.... come to momma, shiny rock (in a plain shank Tacori 2620 please).
They say if you're bad, you get a lump of coal for Christmas. Can I have a pretty lump of carbon...?

Hi there! I'd like to put myself on the list, if I may!

BF and I have been together almost 2 years. I knew within the first month that we would get married. He felt the same way, and has told me multiple times that he wants to marry me throughout our relationship. I've sent him pics of rings, ring size, we've talked about wedding venues, etc.

I just turned 30 and he's 26. I've also been married previously and he hasn't. I had to get some church stuff in order, and he just graduated from law school and passed the bar. He's looking for a job now, and I feel like that's the final piece of the puzzle.

A few weeks ago I asked about a timeline and he said "at the most a quarter of a year." I was hoping for sooner...but the wait is obviously worth it.

He's very traditional and I know he'll ask my dad or step-dad (or both) for their permission. Although I've shown him rings online, I don't think we'll try them on in person. He wants all of it to be a surprise, "how it should be" in his opinion.

Two of my best friends got engaged within a day of each other in July. Almost everyone else I know is engaged, getting married, or having babies. It's SO hard being patient and not getting sad and freaking out at times! And I feel like I can't really talk about it to anyone, so I'm glad to have found this forum!
