I’d probably turn my engagement ring into something else cos it would feel weird to wear that as an engagement ring and I’d maybe sell the wedding band or give it away. But I would definitely buy myself a giant honking rock for my middle finger - why shouldn’t I have a diamond ring even if I’m not married haha

I guess my larger EC is effectively a D-ring, as I bought it using the money I saved for 5 years intended for a holiday with my then hubby.

By the time the 5 years was up, I could no longer go on holiday with him as we had very different travelling styles and needs. So I used the money to buy the EC and had it made into a RHR instead.
