So, my second LOGR Legacy arrived in the post today, and despite it not having miligrain like my first one, I''ve decided to keep it, and I''m sure you''ll see why.

First, though - here are some options I can set in it. . . I just can''t decide on what I want to do with it!

Here is it with my 1.43 ct. Malaya Garnet from Gemrite . . .

With the Malaya again . . .

In the box and super dirty!

Next up, my pink tourmaline from Gemrite - it''s too small, but I could always order the setting to fit . . .

With my 1.44 ct. sapphire . . .

And on the hand . . .

My purple spinel . . .

So colour-chang-ey!

So chunky and purple-ey . . .

With the orange-pink zircon.

Now for pics of the new setting with my Mozambique.

Another . . .

3/4 view . . .

By itself . . .

My 3-sided pave band.

Or should I just wait until I find an awesome cushion diamond? This is a Signity cushion.

Your collection just makes me drool.

Seriously, my first choice for the setting would be the garnet - the red just POPS out to say hello!

Second choice is the spinel - it also pops out of the setting and can hold it''s own.

I feel like the sapphire is too... soft for the setting. That makes no sense, LOL, but I feel like it''s getting lost. Like it needs something more delicate.
Same with the tourmailine, it just kinda gets lost among the melee, IMO.
The zircon looks too small for the setting.

I like it without the milgrain!

DITTO Gecko.

(thanks Gecko, saves me typing out the order of preference!)

Thanks, Dani! My first inclination is the Garnet, because it''s just so juicy and red! Plus, I wear a lot more red than, say, purple . . .

But, that spinel is just so pretty, especially in magnified pics!

I agree with the comment about the sapphire - I think I ought to find a solitaire setting for it . . .but, I''m not really sure. The Tourmaline is definitely going in a bezel with rose gold and no side diamonds, just when I have time to find the proper setting.

Wow, honestly, they are ALL gorgeous in that setting. I don''t think you can go wrong.

Sorry, I know that''s no help.

LOL LS- glad I could save you some time!

I think you should go with the garnet. Especially with the Holiday''s coming - you''ll have a luscious red lovely to wear!

That sapphire deserves a more delicate home.

I would go with the garnet. I agree that the setting enhances it''s beauty rather than overwhelming it.

(and actually, I like the setting w/o the milgrain. You get the best of both worlds, and now your rings won''t be exactly matching.)

Without a doubt, the garnet. Wow.

Wow I can''t take my eyes off the mozambique

I love the garnet....or the zircon!!!!

The garnet is my first choice, then the zircon. Not to thread jack, but John from gemrite said ours were the same color (I asked when I couldn''t decide). Do you think it would look good in rose gold? I can''t afford a blingy setting right now, not even from LOGR, but I found some super cheap settings that will work on ebay. I can choose white gold, rose, or even cheaper, 10k yellow. What do you think, considering you obviously have a great eye for this stuff and you have a stone the exact same color as mine. Again, sorry for the thread jack, and I say go for the garnet!

I like the garnet or the sapphire.

I love that garnet. What a collection you have.
