bigger diamond is a 1.04 ct blue lightbox loose diamond the color is like a greenish bluish teal and the smaller diamond is a 0.90 ct fancy intense blue diamond from fire & brilliance the color of this stone is a denim/periwinkle blue with slight tones of lavender. Both stones are VVS1 clarity and both have excellent cut grades. I'm definitely keeping one and returning one. If you guys were to keep one which one would it be purely based on color not size? 488A916C-0D70-4869-8E87-33A0B89D6914.jpeg249985A6-2FD0-4B9E-A805-8E8BF282665B.jpeg7E110B60-1A1E-4699-9F26-699093CA913E.jpeg8BBD7009-0E9F-4FA6-A20C-52B5FE8238C7.jpeg3B885FF3-E268-4118-B162-1906EA98A1A9.jpeg

I agree, it's more saturated. I've noticed that with lab blues, they tend to be more pastel. I guess I'm also used to the irradiated ones that have inclusions which make them appear a little darker I think, but that appesarance of aturation is prettier imo. I'm interested to hear what others think.

Smaller one for me too. Good luck with your decision!

Another vote for the slightly smaller more vivid looking blue. Looks absolutely fantastic!

Definitely the smaller one. But I'm not a fan of teal/blue in diamonds. They always look irradiated to me.

The smaller one is my favorite.

Another vote for the smaller one.

DK :))

Another vote for the smaller one as well. The blue looks more vibrant and not as “washed” out when compared to the larger stone.

I prefer the smaller "denim" colored stone. It's a gorgeous color.

Dang. They have some very pretty blue lab diamonds on this site. Prices are way better than new world diamonds as well!

Oh the small one! What a pretty color :kiss2:

The slightly smaller one is much more in line with my mental image of what a blue diamond should look like, the other one is a bit... teal. Nothing wrong with teal, unless you wanted blue. ;-)
That’s kind of how I felt. That was the only vvs1 fancy intense

I wish there was an easier way to filter the lab diamonds for fancy colors on that site. Seems like you just have to keep clicking through the huge entire list?

Get a third one and make it a three stone ring??
FWIW- I prefer the smaller one as that is more blue that I like as it is more of the blue that I envisaged for a blue stone.

+1. But perhaps it's better that it's a slog—better for my wallet...

From fire and brilliance? And will you post pics that’s the next one I want, round fancy vivid blue. I’m addicted

yes! Wait I think it's fancy blue, not fancy vivid blue. I have a 2 carat blue diamond from lightbox and while it is beautiful it is definitely a teal-blue. I really wanted a bluer lab diamond so I went for it w/fire and brilliance. Will def post a pic when it arrives!

The only thing I don't like about fireandbrilliance is I find it super hard to navigate the site looking for fancy colored stones. I don't think you can filter for them.

I agree but then again it’s like an Easter egg hunt. I really wanna try a vivid blue next or maybe a light blue to compare to lightbox. I think I’m just going to start a loose stone collection and just get a ring made here and there lol.

Another colored blue lab diamond lover here.

Yes, I have been hunting for a true blue lab ever since I got my hands on the NWD Tiffany teal blue.

Lightbox is a fancy light blue version of the NWD.

Is this the link to check out the colored lab? It can't seem to load.

I love love the demin blue.. Are u able to share the specifications of this little beauty?! Is this a CVD or HPHT lab diamond ?

I think both are very pretty...since I also love green.. I will keep both of them..

When it comes to colors.. I cant help but keep a spectrum of them..

oops! Really very Bad for my pocket.

Thats a tough one. They are both beautiful. One is more of a violet blue and one a more teal blue. It depends on your preference. I am enjoying the sparkle of the teal one.

It is a 0.90 ct vvs1 fancy intense blue, ideal cut. It is a HPHT lab grown diamond with no post growth treatment.
