Do you have a thread on your avatar? It is gorgeous!

Thanks! That''s sweet of you to say! I love my paraiba.

I don''t have an official picture thread, just a couple of vendor pictures. I''m still trying to find my camera (yes, I LOST my camera!!).

As soon as I find it, I will take some pics, I promise. The stone shows a lot more extinction in the vendor pics than it does IRL.

Get moving on it.

Don''t come back until you find that camera.

Here goes. I''m a really bad photographer. The colors look washed out on my computer screen.

You may need to play around with a picture manipulation software to remove all that excess background space before resizing your picture to fit PS’ attachment requirement.

I''ve found that the easiest and fastest way (for me) to resize pictures is to login to my hotmail account and attach the pictures to an email and send them to another one of my email addresses and then saving them to my computer from there. My hotmail automatically makes the file size smaller. Then I don''t have to worry with cropping and resizing and all that other junk.

Might not be the best way but it seems to be much less of a hassle.

I definetly see some glow on that stone. can''t wait for bigger pics. Nice piece Krib!!!

Brandy, I think you may have just saved the day.

I''m sorry the pics are so blurry and washed out. I couldn''t get my camera to focus properly.

Thanks am guy, it doesn''t show much here, but it really does glow.

Love it! I''m so glad you got it.

Very pretty.

I see some glow peeking out in the individual picture. TL suggested taking a picture at night (incandescent lighting) where it glows much better.

Cute little guy, isn''t he? I want to see more glow pictures!

They can glow in bright sunlight as well.

I made it a cave with some blankets etc.

This was the best I could do until I figure out my camera.

So you made a "black box" in lieu of the traditional white box that people use to photograph objects. Very creative!! Black is a perfect background to show off neon stones.

I looked at some of the websites and noticed that black backrounds seems to bring out the glow more, so I gave it a try.

Nice setup; it made the blue really stand out.
