Knife-edge solitare band thickness

Thinking about this style for an E-ring. What would be the millimeter thickness of this band for a .75 - 1 carat diamond? Also, any ideas for plain non-knife-edge wedding bands to go with this?

Please do not 2 tcw eternity band....that's for the 10 year anniversary

I would contact niceice directly to ask the width of that particular setting. Typically in a simple setting like that, you''ll be able to get whatever width you prefer. You might want to go out and try on some rings to see what look you like and what is comfortable.

I would think that a setting like that usually has a width in the 2mm-3mm range.

I wear a channel set diamond band with my knife edge. It adds some sparkle to my simple setting. I''ve gotten loads of compliments one friend says she loves that it isn''t so matchy-matchy. My tcw is not that much, can''t remember, but I didn''t want it to overpower my ring. Best to try on in person. Some pave set diamonds looked nice, but I wonder if they would stratch again the ring?
