It's pretty, but they are so tiny for their ct weight, it drives me nuts !

I asked the vendor for more pics, so we will see !

Yay, thank you!! Window shopping on IG/eBay is my favorite, but I am hopeless with eBay in terms of diamond/specific piece shopping. I appreciate it!
 
The photo pear looks more pink to me then the asscher but if you want more coverage the pear is going to do it. That video of the asscher was a tad depressing as they didnt angle the camera properly, the link on the pear didnt work for me.

I am still sad about the kite :(2

Is that sort of colour as dark as you want to go? Yoram cut an awesome deep brown asscher from Argyle rough (IIRC) that one of the gents on here purchased and set into a ring - I think it's in the Men's Bling thread but I'd have to search it out.

Although gorgeous,the yoram one would be too dark for me. This one is pretty spot on in terms of color. But I'm not in love with the shape (wtf is wrong with me and square stones???), So I'm going to pass. Hoping another PSer can buy it so I can admire it :)

I think I'm going to have Jonathan search for me. I'm tired of passively searching (it's been over a year!) And I just can't find exactly what I want in budget (especially bc searching for the light brown modifyer on gia certs online means opening every single one that's K or below to check manually).

I'm hoping a specific PSer buys the asscher, as she texted me about it yesterday, so I'd rather not say the exact price (sorry, but obviously email me if you want info).

the pear is $1530, which is a great price. There's something about the cut that bugs me a little though--probably because I like chubby pears :lol: and because their videos were so awful that I felt like I couldn't really get a good sense of the stone.

WHY are you doing this to me!! Btw, Modified oval/pear/marquise Brilliants usually have little to no bow-tie. If you look at the plot, the star points don't reach the girdle. This results in some weight retention in the under girdle area so the diamond doesn't face up as large as a non-modified brilliant of the same depth % and carat weight. HOWEVER, I personally noticed that it adds a lot of color, so they face up far more tinted, which helps in this case! $2500 is a great price!

B2c. Not in their inventory so you'd have to chat them to ask about it. I emailed about brown stones, but they thought I meant brown or yellow so sent me mostly yellow options

thanks lovedogs! I just chatted with B2C and saw the video for the oval - I liked it from the face-up position but not as it rotated around so I am passing on it - it was great to check it out though as I've been (also passively) searching for a 1.5ct+ warm oval for a while now.

Wellllll to update this thread: sadly I need to move the next part of this journey to the MMD forum, because I finally just gave up and decided to let @Rhino Work his magic and find me options. Told him I was open to MMD and natural. Within a comical 24 hours (versus my literal years of off and on searching), he had not 1, not 2, but 5 options. He's a wizard. All are CVD stones so not going to post them here but I'll start a thread over in MMD once the journey has concluded :) thanks to everyone for your help and encouragement!

I was pretty bummed about the kite shape not working, but after DK confirmed that the window would be giant even when set I realized that it's not worth getting something I wouldn't be 100% thrilled with.
