It looks (in pictures) that the stones aren’t that well matched in size- maybe it’s just the setting that’s shifted with age & wear that make it look that way?. If it looks that way in person to your eye - I’d only keep it if resetting completely was in the cards and you liked the stones themselves. I’m assuming overhauling the current setting might not be cost effective compared to a new setting. I’d probably ask the salesperson to super clean the ring before making that decision.
This! This was my concern!! I didn’t know if I was seeing things. I do like the stones themselves—they seem to vary in terms of shape but I am worried the setting has shifted some.
Is there one side of the eternity that is more uniform? Bc that’s a really good price for an eternity that size, but as Fisher said, you blow the deal with a reset.
HI:
What others have said. And it looks like a tight fit.......I would never buy a full eternity ring that just" fits.
cheers--Sharon
Sounds like a good price but does look a bit wonky. Does it fit you or is it too snug?
It fits. Sadly. I think it’s my ER that is feeling snug lately. Could be bc it’s summer. But the eternity is not snug.
The wonkiness yes. I see it. And I am not bothered by it more than I am worried that a stone will fall out. I don’t have time to run it to my jeweler bc I only have a one day return window.
I would probably keep it
Ty all! I did keep it and will be taking it to my jeweler some time this week! I am so thrilled that I did! The pictures that I posted earlier do not do it justice!
