Hi all,

My fiance and I are considering purchasing the Katie Pave Setting with diamonds from Whiteflash. Anyone own this setting, and if so could you post pictures?

We are also considering the allegro in D setting.

We have picked out a 1.1ct VVS1 I cushion cut diamond to go with these settings, it is square.

I would go with the allegro setting, I think it would compliment that size cushion better than the other setting:)

I like the Allegro better. I don't like the square prongs on the Katie.

Here's a vote for the Katie - love that profile! But as with one of the above posters, I'm not thrilled with the square prongs - could WF modify them to be finer with a claw-type finish? (In WF's "Recently Purchased" section for the Katie, the 1.00ct Princess *seems* to have more delicate prongs rather than the square or the chevron prongs...)

Either ring setting would be beautiful, though - good luck with your decision!

I vote allegro as i also dont like those prongs on the katie.

I think they are both gorgeous, but wanted to make sure that you had considered the following:

1. They are both set very high, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but worth noting.
2. A wedding band will probably not sit flush with either, so make sure that is not something that is important to the wearer. Some people don't mind a gap, and it drives others bonkers.

another Katie vote here.

Thanks everyone for posting. We ended up going with the Katie. I happen to love the square prongs.....Will keep y'all updated when the ring arrives.
