The measurement on the top of my ring is about 1.5 mm but the bottom part (right against my skin) is about 2.5 mm. That 1mm difference provides distance to avoid two rings rubbing against each other. I don't know if this is the case for all of the 3siders. Can you show me couple pictures of your ER?
