Probably not possible from a dental point of view...MUST be a grill even though he says not. Would be near impossible to chew and the diamonds would kill his top teeth as he ground on them. How much you think that would cost? and wouldn't the pave come loose and he would swallow some? Thoughts?

What dentist would pull out his teeth and replace them with gold and diamonds? I heard about this on the radio this morning and nearly ran into the person in front of me when I rolled my eyes.

I read somewhere (can't remember) that Kanye actually lost most of his natural teeth in the car accident that almost killed him. Which is plausible if you've seen the post-accident photos of him. Its possible that he's replacing *dentures* with a gold/diamond denture-like appliance designed for him.

On Ellen he said he's "always at the dentist" anyway ... so the upkeep wouldn't be a change in his lifestyle. Who knows. I think its ghastly.

Maybe they are implants? I don't know...he is definitely crazy, but I guess if it were me and I had lost most of my teeth, had lots of money and wanted to keep up my Crazy Kanye image, I would go for the most sparkly, white teeth as possible!

ETA: just read the article, he does say that they are implants.

Maybe they are implants? I don't know...he is definitely crazy, but I guess if it were me and I had lost most of my teeth, had lots of money and wanted to keep up my Crazy Kanye image, I would go for the most sparkly, white teeth as possible!

I'd aim for glowing teeth... like glow in the dark. There was a tv show episode, I can't remember the show, but someone's teeth were glowing and I thought it was a riot.

I used to know a Namibian girl who had a diamond glued to one of her upper front teeth and I thought that was disgusting. She was very pretty, in an air-head, blonde bimbo sort of way, so I suppose one could argue that the diamond suited her "sparkling" personality, but it was incredibly distracting when speaking to her.

Looking at one of the pictures, it seems like it is a row of diamonds with gold along the top edge that would touch his upper teeth. So it wouldn't harm his other teeth...it's just ridiculous. What else can we expect from Kanye?

He's such a disappointment, because I REALLY liked some of his music.

If you watch the "Through the Wire" video you can see footage of him at the dentist after his accident in '02 getting his mouth fixed after they put the metal plate in his chin. I think getting diamonds on your lower teeth is silly but I also don't think he had normal healthy teeth.
