So my girlfriend mentioned she loved radiants and cushions. I fell in love with the Princess of Hearts cut but it was out of my budget for the size clarity and color i wanted to get for her. She has no idea i have been looking for over a month now and this site as well as the members here has helped me tremendously, thank you.

Although not true hearts and arrows, I stumbled upon this stone, and looking at the GIA diagram, it looks like it was cut the same way as the POH and BGD Quadex. I received the Aset and immediately purchased the stone after the inhouse gemologist favored this out of the other two stones i picked out. How did i do?

You did very well! Nice stone and looks perfect in the setting! When is the proposal? Hurry back with hand shots

She is going to be thrilled! It gorgeous and it looks HUGE! Can't wait for more pics!!

That's beautiful! She's going to love it!

Thanks everyone. I guess I just needed reassurance that I chose a winner. I want her to choose the setting so this one is just temporary unless I can figure out the type of setting she wants before my 60 day return policy is up. So far im hinting she likes pave ;)

And yes, its bigger than I expected. Im very happy with JA service

I actually think it looks fantastic in that simple solitaire! But of course, make sure she picks what she wants (and post lots of pics once she decides  ).

It's gorgeous! And smart man to have her pick her own setting! :appl:

Beautiful stone!

it's gorgeous and it's wonderful that you are going to let her pick her own setting! you did good.

Great Job! You can very easily tell the beauty of that stone from the pics. Your girlfriend is going to be so happy and excited! Please come back with hand shots on her ;) would love to see the real deal (no offense!)

I love radiant cuts--it's beautiful. Although I like the simple setting, good idea to let her make final decision on setting--depends on type of band to go with it also.

Updated pics with higher quality digital camera. The more I look at it, the more I love it.

oh, wow, a chunky faceted radiant...just wonderful!

You have learned well little grasshopper.

I love the look but a wise husband in training does what you are doing i.e.give her final choice. Congrats!

The ring looks fantastic! Would you mind please letting me know, is that the 2mm knife edge James Allen band?

Yes it is!

Wow, that stone is just beautiful!! Good job! Are you any closer to finding its permanent home? I think it looks great in the solitaire setting, but you had mentioned that your intended likes pavé.

I am still "browsing" for a setting but honestly i am letting her have the final decision. on the setting. that is if she says YES of course ;)
