Hi, gang. Just wanted to post a link to a video clip of my small collection of small precious gemstones. The diamond is a magnificently cut (GIA triple excellent) 0.50/J/VS2. The red 6×4mm oval stone close to the middle is a heated pinkish-red Burmese ruby from the old mogok mine, so it is definitely my favorite of the bunch. And I also really love this little 4.4x4.4 mm square cut emerald. It looks fantastic in practically any lighting conditions. The trillion is a heated deep blue sapphire. The other white stone is a 0.50 carat white sapphire. Plus a yellow sapphire, an orange sapphire, a purple sapphire, and a nice darkish-green sapphire cushion (all vivid in color and heated). The purple sapphire and the orange sapphire are both 7x5 mm, and I plan to use 'em to make a couple of rings (each will also have a couple of SUPER-teensy accent diamonds as side stones).

Oh! And I forgot to mention the tiny lil' 4 mm pink sapphire trillion and the 6x4mm emerald cut pink sapphire.

And here is a dandy lil' 0.46/J/SI1 diamond (also a GIA triple excellent, and it faces up at 4.3 mm in size) along with a couple of 3.5mm heated blue sapphires that I plan to make a cute little three stone ring with.

Here's a pic of Mel's new hot pink lab Sapphires (5.5mm each) worn with her 14k white gold diamond jackets and her 14k white gold natural diamond hoops (G color/VS2 clarity). I really like the color on these lab pink sapphires!

Oops, I just realized I listed the lil' diamond incorrectly. This was actually a natural 0.31 carat/J/SI1 diamond, NOT a 0.46 carat. My bad!

Love the pearls!!!! Always makes me smile to see someone heading into pearls as I once did myself.

I love pearls, too! In fact, I think I like pearls more than my fiance. :P2 these 14k white gold pearl studs are round freshwater Chinese pearls. But I've also bought her button Chinese freshwater pearl studs (in yellow gold) AND akoya pearls in white gold and yellow gold. I particularly love the way these little 6mm round freshwater pearls fit perfectly with her diamond jackets--- I REALLY like the Diamonds and Pearls combo. And who doesn't love well-saturated Ceylon pink sapphires? Fuchsia or otherwise. :kiss2:

Beautiful, I love all of it, especially the pink earrings in the jacket!!

Just posting a pic of the new pair of 14k white gold 5×3mm oval faceted neon blue apatite studs I got my girl (along with her 14k white gold diamond jackets and 6mm round freshwater pearls). The pic is kind of blurry. The stones are actually significantly more vibrant in person. Anyway, I REALLY dig this combo. Eye-clean neon blue apatite from Madagascar is one of my fave gemstones. And I think it's especially perfect for studs because it's almost too soft for a ring stone. :geek2:
