I was going to get it set for US$80/- in yellow gold cos I like yellow gold. (also cos i'm cheap)

However, my gf insisted white or platinium. Its gonna set me back at least 30% of the diamond cost in Singapore.

I'm expecting the diamond to arrive by Friday.

Now, how do i propose? What do I do?
Do I have to do the classic bended knee thingy or announce it to the whole world? She doesn't like attention but I'm the attention deficit devil.
