Just How Bad Is It?

Hi everyone, I’m looking to purchase an engagement ring from London. According to the GIE certificate, the center stone is D-E color and VS2-SI1 quality. I’m having a hard time believing the se qualifications as the video shows yellow hues from the sides of stone and DE stones should be colorless. This seller is much cheaper than all the other jewelers I’ve looked at so I’m a bit skeptical. I’d like to get an idea of what the actual characteristics of the stone are had they been appraised by GIA or something similar. Any estimate would be greatly appreciated!

(The 4 prong ring is a 1.6 ct center stone and the 6 prong is a 1.5. Both have the same color and clarity)

Sorry for all the photos, I’m new to this forum so I’m not sure how to add videos just yet. 5DBA2531-9922-43C2-8314-0A815FE24D1F.png B921B3DA-4C5F-4CC0-9D38-375720DBD064.png 3F86683C-984D-448C-82D7-927F1BC0557B.png A0F7FB04-3B30-4905-8421-8B06689C7D93.png ECAAD3C1-A16C-4253-83E9-388759CA699D.png 72669006-6F98-4FD3-9485-2367FFB61980.png 0525998C-97A2-4A5D-A57A-D572D40C6A1E.png CED0E26E-D920-4673-9BDB-636E758B5BC2.png

They both look like poorly cut stones according to the pictures. Just not worth spending money on IMO.

I’m guessing this will be £££££, please don’t do it! You can do better, post your budget.

I would post your wish list here and the experts will be able to assist you.
I have purchased a Whiteflash ACA and had it shipped to Guernsey. My work colleague also purchased one in September and and he and his fiancée love the ring.

Agree with the posts above. Assuming the photos are screen shots of the ring as it spins, besides it not having good performance (at least not that I can discern with the sub-par lighting) it also has quite a window... we shouldn’t see the setting clearly - or at all - through even a reasonably well cut diamond.

Agree with PP. It does not look good...

Post your budget and wants (size, colour, clarity) on here, everyone is super helpful and will find you an awesome stone.
