I like it! The plate is going to be so close to the stone that it won't "read" like a plate for the most part, and it will give you the reflection that you're looking for. (He is going to add tiny balls between the plate and the bezel, right?)

think it's just struts/sticks and not balls.

I just read through this entire thread and whew! you had to go through a LOT to get this design right. I would have been frustrated long ago, but you hung in there and it turned out great! I love how it looks. Congratulations!

My bf and I picked up the ring last month but I promised to not sneak a peak until he proposes (like a good girl )

Both our jobs have been crazy busy lately so we probably won't be engaged for a couple months. ^___^ I will definitely let u guys know when he asks.
